How it works

1. Animate Spawning Pit using Katsumasa.
2. Activate Spawning Pit's second ability by removing two charge counters from it, creating two creature tokens.
3. Activate Spawning Pit's first ability twice by sacrificing the creature tokens, putting two charge counters on it.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This intricate loop transforms your entire engine into a self-sustaining sacrifice machine, fueled by Katsumasa, the Animator turning Spawning Pit into a creature so it can tap into Ashaya, Soul of the Wild's static ability making every nontoken creature a Forest land. While Bard, King of Dale doubles your token output to keep the math working, Blossoming Tortoise sits on the board granting a passive power boost and shaving mana off your land-based abilities. By sacrificing the creatures back to the animated Spawning Pit to regain counters, you can cycle indefinitely for boundless deaths and enter-the-battlefield triggers.
