Rude Awakening

How it works

1. Cast Rude Awakening by paying 4, choosing its first mode.
2. Kitsa's prowess ability triggers, giving it +1/+1 until end of turn.
3. Holding priority, activate any number of lands you control by tapping them, adding at least 2.
4. Activate Kitsa's second ability by paying 2 and tapping it, copying Rude Awakening.
5. Resolve the copy of Rude Awakening, untapping all lands you control.
6. Repeat from step 3.

The true genius of this loop lies in Ashaya, Soul of the Wild, whose passive ability turns every nontoken creature you control into a Forest land in addition to its other types. This lets Kitsa, Otterball Elite and your other creatures tap directly for mana while also qualifying them to be untap targets. When you cast Rude Awakening, Kitsa's prowess triggers and bumps its power to 3, unlocking its copy ability. By using your newly land-ified creatures to float mana, you can feed Kitsa's activation cost and copy Rude Awakening repeatedly, untapping all your lands and creatures each time to generate infinite mana and untaps.
