How it works

1. Cast Badgermole by paying its mana cost
2. When Badgermole enters, its earthbend ability triggers, causing it to earthbend itself as it is a Forest due to Ashaya.
3. Activate Coastal Hornclaw by sacrificing Badgermole
4. When Badgermole dies, it triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
5. When Badgermole enters, its earthbend ability triggers, causing it to earthbend itself as it is a Forest due to Ashaya.
6. Resolve the Coastal Hornclaw ability.
7. Repeat from step 3.

This looping engine transforms a simple sacrifice outlet into an infinite trigger machine by turning your creatures into lands. With Ashaya, Soul of the Wild on the battlefield, Coastal Hornclaw can instantly sacrifice any of your non-token creatures—including itself, if needed—to fuel its flying ability. The key to sustaining this loop is Badgermole: when it enters, its earthbend ability targets itself (since Ashaya makes it a Forest), and when Coastal Hornclaw sends it to the graveyard, Badgermole's own death trigger brings it right back to the battlefield tapped. Each iteration resets the cycle, churning out infinite creature enters-the-battlefield, leaves-the-battlefield, death, and landfall triggers while the passive trample and stat-boosting effects of Badgermole round out the strategy.
