How it works

1. Cast Earthbending Student by paying its mana cost
2. When Earthbending Student enters, its earthbend ability triggers, causing it to earthbend itself as it is a Forest due to Ashaya.
3. Activate Trenching Steed by sacrificing Earthbending Student
4. When Earthbending Student dies, it triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
5. When Earthbending Student enters, its earthbend ability triggers, causing it to earthbend itself as it is a Forest due to Ashaya.
6. Resolve the Trenching Steed ability.
7. Repeat from step 3.
