How it works

1. Cast Badgermole by paying its mana cost
2. When Badgermole enters, its earthbend ability triggers, causing it to earthbend itself as it is a Forest due to Ashaya.
3. Activate Troubled Healer by sacrificing Badgermole
4. When Badgermole dies, it triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
5. When Badgermole enters, its earthbend ability triggers, causing it to earthbend itself as it is a Forest due to Ashaya.
6. Resolve the Troubled Healer ability.
7. Repeat from step 3.

This delightful loop transforms Badgermole into an unyielding, self-sacrificing engine by turning it into a land right upon entry thanks to Ashaya, Soul of the Wild. Because Ashaya makes all your nontoken creatures Forests, Badgermole's earthbend ability can target the Badgermole itself when it enters, ensuring that its eventual death triggers its own return to the battlefield tapped. You then feed this rotating cycle directly into Troubled Healer, sacrificing the creature-land to fuel its activation while instantly resetting the loop.
