How it works

1. Animate Spawning Pit using Katsumasa.
2. Activate Spawning Pit's second ability by removing two charge counters from it, creating two creature tokens.
3. Activate Spawning Pit's first ability twice by sacrificing the creature tokens, putting two charge counters on it.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This elegant loop transforms your artifacts and creatures into a self-sustaining engine, beginning by using Katsumasa, the Animator to animate Spawning Pit into an artifact creature so it can tap into its own abilities. Once it is alive, Ashaya, Soul of the Wild steps in as the linchpin, turning all your nontoken creatures—and thanks to Queen Allenal of Ruadach's token replacement, the extra Soldier tokens you generate—into additional Forest lands that passively benefit from Blossoming Tortoise's cost-reducing and power-boosting auras. This means sacrificing your creatures to Spawning Pit to build up charge counters simultaneously feeds your mana base and sets up an infinite loop of creature entry, sacrifice, and death triggers.
