How it works

1. Cast Badgermole by paying its mana cost
2. When Badgermole enters, its earthbend ability triggers, causing it to earthbend itself as it is a Forest due to Ashaya.
3. Activate Shilgengar by sacrificing Badgermole
4. When Badgermole dies, it triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
5. When Badgermole enters, its earthbend ability triggers, causing it to earthbend itself as it is a Forest due to Ashaya.
6. Resolve the Shilgengar ability.
7. Repeat from step 3.

This clever loop transforms a simple badger into a self-sustaining engine by turning our entire board into a literal ecosystem. Thanks to Ashaya, Soul of the Wild, Badgermole is treated as a Forest land in addition to its creature type, allowing its own earthbend entry trigger to target itself. When we feed this earthbent Badgermole to Shilgengar, Sire of Famine's sacrifice ability, the badger's death trigger immediately returns it to the battlefield. The loop then resets seamlessly as Badgermole re-enters and earthbends itself once more, generating an endless supply of Blood tokens, death triggers, and landfall events along the way.
