How it works

  1. Activate Murasa Rootgrazer's second ability by tapping it, returning Crimson Kobolds to your hand from the battlefield.
  2. Cast Crimson Kobolds by paying 0.
  3. When Crimson Kobolds enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
  4. Repeat.
  5. If you control another nontoken creature without summoning sickness, this combo nets infinite mana creatures you control can produce.

This clever loop turns zero-mana creature deployment into a cascading mechanical engine by weaving together type-changing static abilities and untap triggers. Ashaya, Soul of the Wild does the heavy lifting by turning your nontoken creatures into Forest lands, which Rootpath Purifier then upgrades so that every land you control—and every land card in your library—is basic. This makes Murasa Rootgrazer's tap ability immensely flexible, allowing it to bounce Crimson Kobolds back to your hand as a basic land. When you recast Crimson Kobolds for zero mana, Intruder Alarm catches the creature's entry and untaps all your creatures, including Murasa Rootgrazer, readying the whole board to repeat the cycle infinitely.
