How it works
Activate Yurlok or Scorch Thrash by paying 1 and tapping it, causing each player to add .
Activate Hope Tender's second ability by paying 1, tapping and exerting it, untapping it and Yurlok.
Repeat an arbitrarily large number of times.
Once each player has infinite mana, repeat step 2 until you have an empty mana pool.
Move to the next step or phase, causing each player to lose life equal to the mana they lost.
Each opponent loses the game due to having zero or less life.
This ingenious loop turns Yurlok of Scorch Thrash's symmetrical mana generation into a lethal weapon by weaponizing unspent mana rules. While Yurlok floods every player's mana pool with black, red, and green mana, Ashaya, Soul of the Wild quietly ensures that Hope Tender and Yurlok itself count as Forest lands in addition to being creatures. This allows Hope Tender to use its exert ability to repeatedly untap Yurlok alongside itself, fueling the engine and pushing everyone's mana pools to astronomical heights. Once opponents are drowning in unspent energy, simply advancing to the next phase causes Yurlok's static ability to convert that floating mana into lethal life loss, obliterating the table.
