This recursive loop relies on the clever interplay of permanent-type manipulation and graveyard recursion to extract infinite value from your creatures. With Ashaya, Soul of the Wild on the battlefield, every nontoken creature you control is naturally a Forest land in addition to its creature type. Celestial Dawn then steps in to turn all your lands into Plains, which retroactively transforms those creatures into Plains as well. Whenever you cast any creature, its arrival triggers Emeria Shepherd; because that entering creature counts as a Plains, the Shepherd's landfall ability lets you bypass the hand and return a nonland permanent directly to the battlefield. Finally, Woe Strider provides the necessary outlet by letting you sacrifice that creature in response to feed the loop, while its repeatable sacrifice ability even stacks up infinite scry triggers along the way.
