How it works

1. Cast Aang, the Last Airbender by paying its mana cost.

4. When Aang, Airbending Master enters, it triggers, airbending Aang, the Last Airbender.

6. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop spins up an endless engine by bouncing your legendary avatars back and forth between the battlefield and exile. When Aang, the Last Airbender enters the battlefield, its triggered ability exiles Aang, Airbending Master, setting up the return trip. Doc Aurlock, Grizzled Genius provides the crucial cost-reduction engine, slashing the {2} casting cost to zero for spells played from exile so you can recast Aang, Airbending Master for free. That returning avatar then uses its own enters-the-battlefield trigger to exile Aang, the Last Airbender, repeating the cycle infinitely to stack up experience counters, storm count, and a massive army of Ally tokens on your upkeep.
