How it works
- Activate Steel Overseer by tapping it, putting +1/+1 counter on each artifact creature you control.
- Herd Baloth triggers, creating a 4/4 Beast creature token.
- The Beast enters the battlefield, triggering Intruder Alarm, untapping all creatures.
- Repeat from step 2.
This ingenious loop transforms Steel Overseer's traditional faction-boosting tap ability into a self-sustaining engine by bridging the gap between biological beasts and mechanical might. Biotransference is the critical glue here, turning Herd Baloth and all other creatures into artifacts so that Steel Overseer's +1/+1 counter distribution applies to them automatically. Whenever those counters land on Herd Baloth, its triggered ability generates a 4/4 green Beast token, which in turn fuels Intruder Alarm's static ability to instantly untap all creatures upon entry—including the tapping Steel Overseer. Biotransference also throws in a nice bonus by draining a life and spawning a 2/2 black Necron Warrior artifact creature token every time an artifact spell is cast, though the core loop effortlessly churns out infinite creature tokens, endless enters-the-battlefield triggers, and total dominion over your battlefield's state.
