How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Reassembling Skeleton, adding .
2. Activate Reassembling Skeleton by paying 1, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. Imotekh's first ability triggers, creating two 2/2 Necron Warrior artifact creature tokens.
4. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing a Necron Warrior, adding 1.
5. Repeat.

This loop is a masterclass in Necron necromancy, turning a humble pile of bones into an endless Necron legion. Thanks to Biotransference, Reassembling Skeleton is an artifact creature even in your graveyard, meaning its repeated resurrection trips the Phaeron trigger on Imotekh the Stormlord to flood the board with two Necron Warrior tokens for every skeleton cycle. You then feed those very tokens—along with the skeleton itself—into Phyrexian Altar to continuously fund the mana needed to bring Reassembling Skeleton back for more. Grand Strategist is even hanging out on the battlefield as another artifact creature target ready to receive its combat buffs, rounding out an engine that generates infinite mana, tokens, and death triggers.
