How it works

1. Declare The Golden-Gear Colossus as an attacker. It triggers, creating two 1/1 Gnome artifact creature tokens and transforming Ultimecia, Time Sorceress into Ultimecia, Omnipotent.
2. Ultimecia, Omnipotent triggers, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
3. At the beginning of your end step, Y'shtola Rhul triggers, blinking Ultimecia, Omnipotent. It'll enter the battlefield as Ultimecia, Time Sorceress.
4. When Ultimecia, Time Sorceress enters, it triggers, causing you to surveil 2.
5. Repeat each turn.

This elegant loop achieves infinite turns by continuously transforming Ultimecia, Time Sorceress into her Ultimecia, Omnipotent side and back again. Biotransference plays a vital role behind the scenes by turning your creature spells, cards, and permanents into artifacts, which allows Tetzin, Gnome Champion (front-faced as The Golden-Gear Colossus) to recognize them. When The Golden-Gear Colossus attacks, it triggers to transform Ultimecia into her omnipotent form, immediately granting an extra turn via *Time Compression*. Finally, Y'shtola Rhul steps in at the end step to blink Ultimecia right back to her front side, ready to repeat the entire cycle on your next turn.
