How it works

1. Activate Overgrown Battlement by tapping it, adding at least .
2. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Overgrown Battlement.
3. Repeat

This clever pairing turns a humble defender into an infinite mana engine by leveraging Biotransference, which crucially makes all your creatures artifacts in addition to their other types. Because of this type-changing static ability, Overgrown Battlement is now an artifact creature, making it a legal target for Voltaic Construct's ability. You simply tap the Battlement for a surplus of green mana—fueled by its own defender count—and use a portion of that treasure to pay the Construct's activation cost, untapping the Battlement to repeat the loop indefinitely.
