How it works

1. Declare Magus of the Candelabra as an attacker.
2. Activate Maze of Ith by tapping it, untapping Magus of the Candelabra.
3. Activate Cabal Stronghold's second ability by paying 3 and tapping it, adding for each basic Swamp you control.
4. Activate Magus of the Candelabra by paying 2 and tapping it, untapping Maze of Ith and Cabal Stronghold.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This ingenious loop transforms defensive utility into explosive mana generation by leveraging Magus of the Candelabra as the central fulcrum. Since Maze of Ith untaps the attacking Magus and clears its combat damage during the declare attackers step, the wizard is left free and clear to spend a portion of its freshly generated mana to untap both the Maze and Cabal Stronghold. With Cabal Stronghold scaling up your black mana based on your basic Swamps every single iteration, you can funnel a tiny investment of mana into untapping everything repeatedly—netting infinite black mana and infinite untaps of your lands in the process.
