How it works

1. Cast Approach of the Second Sun by paying its mana cost.
2. Holding priority, cast Failure by paying its mana cost, returning Approach of the Second Sun to your hand.
3. Cast Approach of the Second Sun by paying its mana cost, causing you to win the game.

This clever loop allows you to secure an instant victory using just a single copy of Approach of the Second Sun. Ordinarily, the card requires you to cast a second copy later after it buries itself seven cards deep in your library, but casting Failure on the stack bypasses this restriction entirely. By bouncing the original spell back to your hand before it can resolve and trigger its library-shuffling clause, you can immediately recast it from your hand for the win. While the Comply half of Failure // Comply isn't used here, the Failure side provides the exact interaction needed to turn a delayed win condition into a one-turn triumph.
