How it works

1. Cast Approach of the Second Sun by paying 6.
2. Holding priority, cast Venser by paying 2.
3. Venser enters the battlefield, returning Approach of the Second Sun to your hand.
4. Cast Approach of the Second Sun by paying 6, causing you to win the game.

This clever little magic trick lets you completely bypass the intended restriction on Approach of the Second Sun, turning what is normally a two-turn clock into a single explosive sequence. By casting Venser, Shaper Savant with flash while your first Approach is still safely on the stack, Venser's enter-the-battlefield trigger allows you to catch the spell and bounce it directly back to your hand before it ever has a chance to resolve and bury itself into your library. From there, you are free to immediately recast Approach of the Second Sun from your hand for the win, as the game recognizes you've now successfully cast two copies of it without ever letting the first one trigger its delay.
