How it works

1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Hogaak.
2. When Hogaak dies, The Skullspore Nexus triggers, creating a creature token.
3. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability, causing you to mill eight cards.
4. Cast Hogaak from your graveyard by exiling five cards from your graveyard and tapping two black and/or green creatures you control.
5. Primeval Bounty triggers, creating a 3/3 Beast creature token.
6. Repeat.

This vicious loop relies on Hogaak, Arisen Necropolis slipping effortlessly back and forth between the battlefield and the graveyard, completely bypassing the need for mana thanks to its delve and convoke abilities. Each time you sacrifice it to Altar of Dementia, you trigger The Skullspore Nexus to replace Hogaak with an even beefier Fungus Dinosaur token, while simultaneously milling your library to fuel Hogaak's graveyard-casting requirement. Meanwhile, casting Hogaak triggers Primeval Bounty's creature-casting ability to churn out a steady supply of 3/3 Beast tokens, which can then be tapped to help convoke Hogaak right back into play.
