How it works

1. Activate Survey Mechan by sacrificing it.
2. When Survey Mechan dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Survey Mechan from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Tormod triggers, creating two creature tokens.
4. Resolve the Survey Mechan ability, dealing 3 damage to any target and causing you to draw three cards and gain 3 life.
5. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the two creature tokens, adding CCCC.
6. Cast Survey Mechan by paying 4.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop hinges on Survey Mechan, which conveniently discounts its own massive activation cost through its own sacrifice while feeding itself right back to your hand. When it hits the graveyard, Mortuary intercepts it to place the robot right back on top of your library for recasting. Meanwhile, Tormod, the Desecrator watches cards leave your graveyard to flood the board with Zombie tokens, which Ashnod's Altar eagerly converts into the raw mana needed to repeat the cycle. Queen Allenal of Ruadach even bolsters your token generation along the way, turning this mechanical resurrection into an engine for infinite damage, card draw, and life.
