How it works

1. Activate Mite Overseer by paying 3W/P, creating two creature tokens.
2. When the creature tokens enter the battlefield, Pious Evangel triggers twice if it's on the battlefield, causing you to gain 2 life.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the creature tokens, adding CCCC.
4. When the creature tokens die, Wayward Disciple triggers twice if it's on the battlefield, causing you to gain 2 life and target opponent to lose 2 life.
5. Repeat.

This engine is driven by Mite Overseer’s ability to churn out tokens, which Queen Allenal of Ruadach cleverly doubles by tagging along an extra Soldier token every time you activate it. Once those tokens hit the field, Pious Evangel immediately rewards you with life, and sacrificing them to Ashnod's Altar yields more than enough colorless mana to keep the loop going. Finally, as those tokens bite the dust, Wayward Disciple weaponizes their demise to drain your opponents out of the game while pumping Queen Allenal of Ruadach to lethal proportions.
