How it works
- Activate Ant Queen by paying 1, creating two 1/1 Insect and two 1/1 Soldier creature tokens.
- Activate Baylen's first ability twice by tapping the Soldier and Insect tokens, adding 1.
- Repeat.
This loop is a masterclass in token multiplication, turning a modest mana investment into an overwhelming board state. Ant Queen normally provides a modest conversion of mana into insects, but Queen Allenal of Ruadach and Elspeth, Storm Slayer step in as powerful replacement effects that radically scale up your output, turning each activation into a flood of both Insect and Soldier tokens. Once your army is vast enough, Baylen, the Haymaker steps in to tap down those newly minted tokens for a net profit of mana, fueling the Ant Queen all over again. By cycling this loop endlessly, you not only generate infinite mana and creature enters-the-battlefield triggers, but you can also leverage Baylen's other abilities to draw your entire deck and grow Baylen into an infinitely large, trampling threat.
