How it works
- Cast Squee from your graveyard or from exile by paying 1.
- Iraxxa triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier and a 2/2 Alien Warrior creature token.
- Activate Phyrexian Altar three times by sacrificing Squee, the Soldier and the Alien Warrior, adding 1.
- Repeat.
This elegant loop revolves around Squee, the Immortal's unique ability to be repeatedly cast straight from the graveyard or exile, creating a continuous source of fuel. By utilizing Phyrexian Altar, you can sacrifice Squee alongside the tokens it helps generate to recoup the exact mana needed to cast him again. The real engine, however, is Iraxxa, Empress of Mars, whose Paradox ability triggers whenever you cast a spell from anywhere other than your hand—spawning a 2/2 red Alien Warrior token with every iteration. Finally, Queen Allenal of Ruadach steps in to supercharge your token generation by adding an extra 1/1 white Soldier creature token to the mix whenever those tokens are created, giving you the critical third sacrifice target needed to sustain the mana loop indefinitely.
