How it works
- Activate Zombie Infestation by discarding two cards, creating a 2/2 Zombie creature token and a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
- Activate Shilgengar twice by sacrificing the Zombie and Soldier.
- When the Zombie and Soldier die, Dragon Appeasement triggers twice, causing you to draw two cards.
- Resolve both Shilgengar abilities.
- Repeat.
This engine uses Zombie Infestation to feed cards into your graveyard while simultaneously generating a 2/2 Zombie and a 1/1 Soldier, courtesy of Queen Allenal of Ruadach’s replacement effect. Once you sacrifice those tokens to Shilgengar, Sire of Famine, you produce a pair of Blood tokens while fueling Dragon Appeasement to draw you right back into the cards you need. The continuous loop feeds itself as you churn through your deck, turning your hand into a swarm of tokens and drawing your whole library.
