How it works
- Play Maestros Theater.
- When Maestros Theater enters, it and Retreat to Emeria trigger.
- Resolve the Retreat to Emeria trigger, creating a 1/1 Kor Ally creature token.
- When the Kor Ally enters, Haru triggers, earthbending Maestros Theater.
- Resolve the Maestros Theater trigger from step 2, causing you to sacrifice it, search your library for an applicable land and put it onto the battlefield tapped, and gain 1 life.
- Haru triggers, returning Maestros Theater from your graveyard to the battlefield.
- Repeat from step 2.
This clever loop relies on Maestros Theater sacrificing itself to jump-start a cascading sequence of triggers involving your entire board. As the land enters, Retreat to Emeria creates a 1/1 white Kor Ally creature token, which in turn causes Haru, Hidden Talent to earthbend Maestros Theater into a creature with a built-in safety net. When Maestros Theater is subsequently sacrificed to its own ability, Haru triggers again to rescue the land from the graveyard, returning it to the battlefield so the whole cycle can begin anew.
