How it works

  1. Activate Chthonian Nightmare by paying EEEE, sacrificing another nontoken creature with mana value 3 or less and returning Chthonian Nightmare from the battlefield to your hand, returning Kheru Goldkeeper from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  2. When Kheru Goldkeeper enters, Twilight Diviner's second ability triggers, creating a token copy of Kheru Goldkeeper.
  3. Cast Chthonian Nightmare by paying 1B mana.
  4. When Chthonian Nightmare enters, it triggers, causing you to get EEE.
  5. Activate Chthonian Nightmare by paying an amount of E, sacrificing Twilight Diviner and returning Chthonian Nightmare from the battlefield to your hand, returning the creature sacrificed in step 1 from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  6. Both Kheru Goldkeepers trigger, creating two Treasure tokens.
  7. Activate the Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 1B mana.
  8. Repeat steps 3 and 4 once.
  9. Activate Chthonian Nightmare by paying EEE, sacrificing the nontoken Kheru Goldkeeper and returning Chthonian Nightmare from the battlefield to your hand, returning Twilight Diviner from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  10. The token Kheru Goldkeeper and Twilight Diviner's first ability trigger.
  11. Resolve the Kheru Goldkeeper trigger, creating a Treasure token.
  12. Resolve the Twilight Diviner trigger, causing you to surveil 2.
  13. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding B mana.
  14. Repeat steps 3 and 4 once.
  15. Activate Chthonian Nightmare by paying EEEE, sacrificing another nontoken creature with mana value 3 or less and returning Chthonian Nightmare from the battlefield to your hand, returning Kheru Goldkeeper from your graveyard to the battlefield.
