How it works

1. Activate Arm-Mounted Anchor's equip ability by paying 0, targeting another nontoken creature you control.
2. Monk Gyatso triggers, airbending the targeted creature.
3. The Arm-Mounted Anchor ability fizzles due to no longer having a legal target.
4. Cast the creature from exile by paying 0 due to Sami.
5. Repeat.

This delightful little engine relies on a clever targeting quirk to spin out endless enters-the-battlefield triggers, leaving-the-battlefield triggers, and storm count. You start by using Arm-Mounted Anchor's equip ability on a creature, which naturally triggers Monk Gyatso to exile that creature via airbending. Because the target vanishes mid-activation, the equipment's ability fizzles—leaving the equipment ready to be activated for zero mana thanks to its built-in cost reduction. Meanwhile, Sami, Wildcat Captain steps in with affinity for artifacts to completely eliminate the cost of recasting your exiled creature from exile, letting you loop the entire process indefinitely.
