How it works

  1. Cast Plumecreed Mentor by paying 1W manaU mana.
  2. When Plumecreed Mentor enters the battlefield, it triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale.
  3. Basking Broodscale triggers, creating a 0/1 Eldrazi Spawn creature token that has flying due to Combine Chrysalis.
  4. When the Eldrazi Spawn enters the battlefield, Plumecreed Mentor triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale.
  5. Repeat from step 3.
  6. You may sacrifice the Eldrazi Spawns to get infinite C, if desired.
