How it works
- Gain life.
- Spider-Man triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale.
- Basking Broodscale triggers, creating a creature token.
- When the creature token enters the battlefield, Haliya triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
- Repeat from step 2.
This clever loop transforms any initial instance of lifegain into an infinite engine, powered entirely by how seamlessly these three permanents trigger one another. Once you trigger Spider-Man, Peter Parker, it places a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale, which in turn answers with its ability to spawn an Eldrazi token.
