How it works

1. Gain life.
2. The Destined White Mage triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale.
3. Basking Broodscale triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Haliya triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop begins the moment you trigger any initial lifegain, setting The Destined White Mage in motion to place a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale. That counter placement triggers Basking Broodscale's ability to manufacture an Eldrazi Spawn token, which immediately enters the battlefield to satisfy Haliya, Guided by Light's life-gaining trigger.
