How it works

1. Activate Mite Overseer by paying 3W/P, creating two creature tokens.
2. When the creature tokens enter the battlefield, Soul's Attendant triggers twice, causing you to gain 2 life.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the creature tokens, adding CCCC.
4. Repeat.

This loop is powered by Mite Overseer, whose activated ability usually demands more mana than it returns, but Stridehangar Automaton completely reshapes the math by doubling your token output so that every activation spawns extra fodder. With Soul's Attendant on the field, all of those arriving bodies quietly buffer your life total to comfortably offset any phyrexian mana you spend. Finally, Ashnod's Altar converts those freshly minted tokens directly into a surplus of colorless mana, letting you feed the engine indefinitely.
