How it works

1. Activate Warren Soultrader by paying 1 life and sacrificing the persist creature.
2. When the persist creature dies, its persist ability triggers, returning the persist creature from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When the persist creature enters, Hinterland Sanctifier triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
4. Resolve the Warren Soultrader ability, creating a Treasure token.
5. When the Treasure enters, Mm'menon triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on the persist creature.
6. Repeat.

This cunning loop uses Warren Soultrader as the engine, turning a creature into a steady stream of Treasure tokens by paying a mere point of life for each iteration. Because those Treasures are artifacts entering the battlefield, Mm'menon, Uthros Exile triggers to drop a +1/+1 counter onto your recursing creature, which counteracts any lingering -1/-1 penalties keeping it down.
