How it works

1. Activate Shilgengar by sacrificing Walking Archive.
2. When Walking Archive dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to its replacement effect.
3. Resolve the Shilgengar ability.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Isilu, Carrier of Twilight granting its persist ability to Walking Archive, allowing the defender to loop seamlessly in and out of the graveyard. Shilgengar, Sire of Famine fuels this engine by sacrificing Walking Archive to generate Blood tokens, which can later be leveraged or just kept piling up as infinite artifacts. Meanwhile, Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn sets the stage by handling the front half of the transformation cycle, ensuring everything is in place for Isilu, Carrier of Twilight to keep your creatures bouncing back endlessly.
