How it works

1. Cast Stonework Puma by paying 3.
2. When Stonework Puma enters, Haru triggers, targeting Stonework Puma as it is a land due to Toph.
3. Activate Shilgengar by sacrificing Stonework Puma.
4. When Stonework Puma dies, Haru triggers, returning Stonework Puma from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
5. When Stonework Puma enters, Haru triggers, targeting Stonework Puma as it is a land due to Toph.
6. Resolve the Shilgengar ability.
7. Repeat from step 3.

This ingenious loop transforms your artifact creatures into a self-sustaining engine, anchored by Toph, the First Metalbender turning your nontoken artifacts into lands. When you cast Stonework Puma, Haru, Hidden Talent capitalizes on its Ally creature type—and its new land type courtesy of Toph—to earthbend it into a creature-land right upon entry. You then feed Stonework Puma to Shilgengar, Sire of Famine to generate Blood tokens, which triggers Haru's return ability to bring the Puma right back to the battlefield.
