How it works

1. Cast Petals of Insight by discarding Mist Raven.
2. Conspiracy Theorist triggers, exiling Mist Raven and allowing you to cast it from exile this turn.
3. Resolve Petals of Insight, putting the top three cards of your library on the bottom of your library, and returning Petals of Insight to your hand.
4. Cast Mist Raven from exile by discarding Petals of Insight.
5. Conspiracy Theorist triggers, exiling Petals of Insight and allowing you to cast it from exile this turn.
6. Mist Raven enters the battlefield, returning itself from the battlefield to your hand.
7. Cast Petals of Insight from exile by discarding Mist Raven.
8. Repeat from step 2.

This elegant loop turns your hand into a self-sustaining engine by letting Dream Halls bypass traditional mana costs through selective discarding. As you alternate between casting Petals of Insight and Mist Raven, Conspiracy Theorist acts as the crucial bridge: whenever you discard a nonland card to pay for Dream Halls, Conspiracy Theorist exiles it and grants you permission to cast it right back from exile. Meanwhile, Mist Raven's triggered ability targets itself upon entering the battlefield, returning to your hand so it can be discarded all over again to cast Petals of Insight.
