How it works

1. Activate Feldon of the Third Path by paying 2 and tapping it, creating a token copy of Su-Chi with haste.
2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Su-Chi token, adding .
3. When the Su-Chi token dies, it and Feldon of the Third Path trigger.
4. Resolve the Feldon of the Third Path trigger, untapping it.
5. Resolve the Su-Chi trigger, adding CCCC.
6. Repeat.

This ingenious loop centers around Feldon of the Third Path turning your graveyard into an endless supply of mechanical fodder, fueled by Su-Chi's propensity to generate a massive burst of colorless mana whenever it meets its demise. By sacrificing that token to Phyrexian Altar, you convert Su-Chi's death into the colored mana needed to keep Feldon working, while the leftover generic mana easily covers Thornbite Staff's hefty equip cost if you need to pass the artifact around. Though Thornbite Staff's static ability isn't even required here to achieve your infinite mana and death triggers, it sits ready in the wings to grant its ping and untap abilities to any Shaman that happens to join the battlefield.
