How it works

1. Activate Unctus by paying U/P, causing Bloom Tender to become a blue artifact in addition to its other types until end of turn.
2. Activate Faeburrow Elder by tapping it, adding at least .
3. Bloom Tender triggers, causing you to loot.
4. Telekinetic Bonds triggers, causing you to pay 1 to untap Bloom Tender.
5. Repeat from step 2.
6. If you control a black and/or red permanent, this combo makes near-infinite mana of those color(s).

This clever mana-positive engine transforms Bloom Tender—who was left off the initial card list but acts as the unwitting linchpin—into a powerhouse alongside Faeburrow Elder by using Unctus, Grand Metatect's ability to turn her blue and trigger a continuous loop. Every time you tap Faeburrow Elder for a rainbow of colors, Unctus allows you to filter your hand via looting, which in turn feeds Telekinetic Bonds to pay for untapping the Tender. WithTelekinetic Bonds handling the untap mechanics and Unctus providing the crucial card-draw-and-discard filter, you can endlessly cycle the loop to generate massive amounts of mana while churning through your entire deck.
