How it works

1. Activate Faeburrow Elder by tapping it, adding .
2. Activate High Alert by paying 2, untapping Faeburrow Elder.
3. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Faeburrow Elder into a one-man mana powerhouse by exploiting its color-scaling mana ability, which generates five distinct colors thanks to its own multi-colored identity. By funneling a portion of that windfall into High Alert's activated ability, you can repeatedly untap the Elder for less mana than it produces. High Alert's passive toughness-scaling combat damage is a neat bonus, but its true brilliance here is acting as the engine that untaps your mana source, creating an endless surplus of every color.
