How it works

  1. Activate Phantatog's first ability by sacrificing another nontoken Shrine, causing Phantatog to get +1/+1 until end of turn.
  2. Activate Faeburrow Elder by tapping it, adding W manaU manaB manaR manaG mana.
  3. Activate Go-Shintai by paying W manaU manaB manaR manaG mana and tapping it, returning any Shrine from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  4. When the Shrine enters the battlefield, Go-Shintai triggers, creating a 1/1 Shrine enchantment creature token.
  5. When the Shrine token enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
  6. Repeat.

This dazzling loop transforms a simple garden of Shrines into a self-sustaining engine of creation. It all hinges on Intruder Alarm, whose passive ability turns every creature entering the battlefield into a universal untap switch for your board. With that untapping power ready, you tap Faeburrow Elder to generate the exact five-color mana investment required to activate Go-Shintai of Life's Origin, which in turn plucks a sacrificed Shrine right back out of the graveyard. Every time a Shrine returns—or when Go-Shintai of Life's Origin generates its token counterpart—Intruder Alarm triggers to refresh Faeburrow Elder and your other assets, letting Phantatog neatly recycle your enchantments to fuel the loop indefinitely.
