How it works
- During your upkeep, activate Govern the Guildless by paying 1 and revealing it from your hand, making a creature you control all colors until end of turn.
- Activate Faeburrow Elder by tapping it, adding
. - Activate Seedcradle Witch by paying 2, giving Faeburrow Elder +3/+3 until end of turn and untapping it.
- Repeat from step 2.
By harnessing Govern the Guildless during your upkeep, you can dynamically reshape a creature's color identity to ensure Faeburrow Elder is surrounded by a full spectrum of colors, maximizing its passive mana production. Tapping the Elder yields five mana of any color, more than enough to repeatedly fuel Seedcradle Witch's untap ability and cover the initial forecast cost. This creates a self-sustaining mana loop that not only generates infinite mana of every color, but also pumps the Elder into an infinitely large threat through the Witch's continuous buff.
