How it works

  1. Earthbend a land that can tap to produce at least G mana, thus animating it.
  2. Cast Springheart Nantuko for its bestow cost by paying 1G mana, attaching it to the animated land.
  3. Play any land.
  4. When the land enters the battlefield, Springheart Nantuko triggers, causing you to pay 1G mana to create two token copies of the land it is attached to due to Elspeth, Storm Slayer.
  5. When the land tokens enter the battlefield, Springheart Nantuko triggers twice.
  6. Holding priority, activate the two land tokens by tapping them, adding at least G manaG mana.
  7. Resolve the first Springheart Nantuko trigger, choosing not to pay and create two 1/1 Insect creature tokens due to Elspeth, Storm Slayer
  8. Resolve the second trigger, causing you to pay 1G mana to create two token copies of the land it is attached to due to Elspeth, Storm Slayer.
  9. Repeat from step 5.

This crafty engine turns a humble land into a massive self-replicating army, beginning by animating a mana-producing land so it can wear Springheart Nantuko as an Aura via its bestow cost. Every time you play a land, Springheart Nantuko's landfall ability triggers, but the true brilliance of the loop relies on Elspeth, Storm Slayer sitting quietly on the battlefield to double every single token you create into a pair. As the newly spawned land tokens enter, they trigger the Nantuko all over again while generating the exact green mana needed to sustain the loop indefinitely, leaving you with infinite creature tokens, landfall triggers, and tapped land tokens.
