How it works

1. Play Gruul Turf.
2. When Gruul Turf enters the battlefield, it, Toggo, and Kodama of the East Tree trigger.
3. Resolve the Kodama of the East Tree trigger, choosing not to put anything from your hand onto the battlefield.
4. Resolve the Gruul Turf trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
5. Resolve the Toggo trigger, creating a token.
6. When the token enters the battlefield, Kodama triggers, putting Gruul Turf from your hand onto the battlefield.
7. When Gruul Turf enters the battlefield, it and Toggo trigger.
8. Repeat from step 4.

This clever loop transforms a simple land drop into an infinite supply of ammunition, using Kodama of the East Tree as the central engine that glues the pieces together. When you play Gruul Turf, its bounce ability naturally returns it to your hand, but before it leaves, Toggo, Goblin Weaponsmith capitalizes on the landfall trigger to churn out a Rock artifact token. The moment that Rock enters the battlefield, Kodama of the East Tree sees a new permanent and triggers to instantly drop the returned Gruul Turf right back onto the battlefield, restarting the cycle.
