How it works

1. Cast the artifact by paying 0.
2. Toph, Hardheaded Teacher triggers, earthbending Gruul Turf.
3. Resolve the artifact spell.
4. Activate Zuran Orb by sacrificing Gruul Turf.
5. When Gruul Turf dies, Toph, Hardheaded Teach triggers, returning Gruul Turf from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
6. When Gruul Turf enters, it triggers, returning the artifact cast in step 1 from the battlefield to your hand, as it's a land due to Toph, the First Metalbender.
7. Resolve the Zuran Orb ability
8. Repeat.

This brilliant loop transforms a humble zero-mana artifact into an infinite engine by leveraging Toph, the First Metalbender's static ability to turn that artifact into a land whenever it hits the battlefield. With Gruul Turf entering and bouncing that artifact back to your hand, you can recast it to continually trigger Toph, Hardheaded Teacher's earthbend ability. Zuran Orb provides the necessary sacrifice outlet to send Gruul Turf to the graveyard, where Toph, Hardheaded Teacher's own trigger immediately rescues it back to the battlefield tapped, keeping the entire cascade flowing endlessly.
