How it works

1. Activate Gruul Turf by tapping it, adding
2. Activate Ley Weaver by tapping it, untapping Wirewood Lodge and Gruul Turf.
3. Activate Wirewood Lodge's second ability by paying and tapping it, untapping Ley Weaver.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms a simple pair of lands into an infinite mana engine by exploiting the interaction between Ley Weaver and the untap abilities of Wirewood Lodge. Because Ley Weaver can untap both Wirewood Lodge and Gruul Turf at once, and Gruul Turf produces enough mana to fuel Wirewood Lodge's ability, you can continuously untap the Weaver to sustain the loop. The secret glue holding this whole operation together is Runed Stalactite; by equipping it to Ley Weaver, it turns the Weaver into an Elf, allowing Wirewood Lodge's targeted untap ability to legally select it.
