This brilliant loop centers on Kodama of the East Tree and its triggered ability, which lets you drop a permanent from your hand whenever another permanent enters the battlefield under your control. By using Irenicus's Vile Duplication to create a nonlegendary copy of the original Kodama, you double up on these triggers so that each entering permanent can pull another from your hand. When you play Gruul Turf, its bounce-to-hand drawback is subverted into the engine's fuel; as it bounces itself back to your hand, one Kodama trigger puts it right back onto the battlefield, which in turn triggers the other Kodama to repeat the process indefinitely for infinite landfall triggers.
