How it works

  1. Play Gruul Turf. When it enters untapped due to Horizon Explorer, Gruul Turf and Springheart Nantuko trigger.
  2. Holding priority, activate Gruul Turf by tapping it, adding R manaG mana.
  3. Resolve the Gruul Turf trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
  4. Resolve the Springheart Nantuko trigger, causing you to pay 1G mana to create a token copy of Oracle of Mul Daya.
  5. Because of the additional Oracle of Mul Daya token, you can play an additional land this turn.
  6. Repeat.

This loop is brilliantly powered by the interaction between Horizon Explorer and Gruul Turf, transforming a normally-punishing bounce land into a self-sustaining engine. Because Horizon Explorer ensures your lands enter untapped, dropping Gruul Turf triggers its own return-to-hand ability alongside Springheart Nantuko's landfall trigger, giving you just enough window to tap the Turf for mana before it bounces back to your hand. Meanwhile, Oracle of Mul Daya lets you continuously play that very same Gruul Turf right off the top of your library while providing the creature template for Springheart Nantuko to endlessly copy, yielding an unstoppable cascade of creature tokens, mana, and landfall triggers.
