How it works

  1. Play Gruul Turf. When it enters untapped due to The Wandering Minstrel, Gruul Turf and Springheart Nantuko trigger.
  2. Holding priority, activate Gruul Turf by tapping it, adding R manaG mana.
  3. Resolve the Gruul Turf trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
  4. Resolve the Springheart Nantuko trigger, causing you to pay 1G mana to create a token copy of Wayward Swordtooth.
  5. Because of the additional Wayward Swordtooth token, you can play an additional land this turn.
  6. Repeat.

This loop relies on a clever interplay of mana generation, bouncing, and land-dropping to flood the board. With The Wandering Minstrel ensuring your lands enter untapped, playing Gruul Turf triggers both its own bounce ability and the landfall ability of Springheart Nantuko (which is bestowing a creature). By floating mana from Gruul Turf in response, you can use that very mana to pay for Springheart Nantuko's landfall cost when the bounce trigger resolves, creating a copy of Wayward Swordtooth. Because Wayward Swordtooth allows you to play an additional land each turn, you can continually replay the returned Gruul Turf to repeat the process, generating infinite creature tokens and landfall triggers.
