How it works

1. Play Gruul Turf. When it enters untapped due to Spelunking, Gruul Turf and Springheart Nantuko trigger.
2. Holding priority, activate Gruul Turf by tapping it, adding .
3. Resolve the Gruul Turf trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
4. Resolve the Springheart Nantuko trigger, causing you to pay 1 to create a token copy of Icetill Explorer.
5. Because of the additional Icetill Explorer token, you can play an additional land this turn.
6. Repeat.

This brilliant loop turns the self-bouncing nature of Gruul Turf into an engine for an escalating army, all supported by Spelunking ensuring your lands enter the battlefield immediately ready to tap. As Gruul Turf bounces itself back to your hand, its entry triggers Springheart Nantuko to pay for token creation while tapping the land for mana in response, cleanly funding the loop. Meanwhile, Icetill Explorer not only lets you replay Gruul Turf from your hand over and over again thanks to its extra land drop, but its landfall trigger also mills cards to help fuel your graveyard strategy.
