How it works

1. Activate Patron of the Moon by paying 1, putting Gruul Turf from your hand onto the battlefield tapped.
2. When Gruul Turf enters the battlefield, it and Lotus Cobra trigger.
3. Resolve the Gruul Turf trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
4. Resolve the Lotus Cobra trigger, adding 1.
5. Repeat.

This elegant loop transforms the humble bounce-land into a boundless engine of growth by exploiting Patron of the Moon's ability to repeatedly drop land cards directly into play. As Gruul Turf touches down, its own entry trigger forces it right back to your hand, but that very same impact stirs Lotus Cobra's landfall ability to generate a steady stream of mana, effectively paying for the Patron's activation cost and leaving you with an endless cascade of triggers.
