How it works

1. Activate Amoeboid Changeling by tapping it, causing Ley Weaver to become an Elf until end of turn.
2. Activate Gruul Turf by tapping it, adding
3. Activate Ley Weaver by tapping it, untapping Wirewood Lodge and Gruul Turf.
4. Activate Wirewood Lodge's second ability by paying and tapping it, untapping Ley Weaver.
5. Repeat from step 2

This ingenious loop turns a simple Elf-untapping synergy into an engine for infinite red mana by fundamentally rewriting creature types on the fly. Ley Weaver serves as the core untapper, using its ability to refresh both Gruul Turf—which conveniently generates the green mana needed to keep the cycle going while netting red mana—and Wirewood Lodge. Because Ley Weaver isn't naturally an Elf, Amoeboid Changeling steps in with its passive changeling traits to grant Ley Weaver the necessary Elf type, allowing Wirewood Lodge's targeted untap ability to repeatedly free Ley Weaver and close the loop.
